Scope
This policy describes DevBench Local at mistforge.cc and distinguishes local tool processing from website requests and email you choose to send. Privacy questions can be directed to [email protected] using the contact guidance.
Text, files and tool results
Tool calculations and selected-file reads take place in your browser. The application does not upload these inputs, send them to a tool API, create an account or deliberately save your input history. Generated requests, commands and SQL are text outputs; the site does not execute them.
Your browser may preserve form fields or restore tabs according to its settings. Extensions, remote translation tools, device backups and other software have their own behavior. Avoid entering sensitive information if you do not trust your browser or device environment.
Browser storage
- Theme preference: localStorage stores devbench-theme so your light or dark choice can be restored.
- Offline website cache: a service worker and Cache Storage store pages and bundled assets, including tools, guides and images. Tool inputs and results are not deliberately added to this cache.
- Clipboard and downloads: copying places a result in your device clipboard; downloading creates a local file. These can remain after you close or clear the page.
This application does not set its own analytics or advertising cookies. Local storage and Cache Storage are browser storage mechanisms distinct from cookies.
Loading the website and hosting records
Opening or updating the site sends ordinary requests to the website host. Depending on the hosting setup, the host can receive information such as an IP address, requested URL, request time and browser request headers, and may keep operational or security logs. This local application does not establish the host’s logging settings or retention period; it does not promise that no connection metadata exists.
Optional email contact
If you email [email protected], your sender address, message and any attachments are processed through the email services involved. Correspondence may be used to investigate an issue and reply. It is separate from tool inputs, which are not automatically attached. A fixed email retention period is not specified here; contact us about correspondence you have sent, without resending secrets or unnecessary identity documents.
Third-party services and external links
The current application includes no advertising scripts, analytics scripts, tracking pixels, embedded remote tools or runtime third-party tool APIs. Bundled parsers, fonts and Lucide icons are delivered with the site. The licenses page lists applicable notices.
References in tutorials lead to external websites only when you follow them. Those destinations and any browser extensions or translation services you use operate under their own policies. If advertising, analytics or other external processing is added, the policy and any required choices must be updated to describe that behavior.
Google advertising and privacy controls
The current application does not include Google advertising scripts. If you want to manage Google’s personalized advertising, visit Google My Ad Center: turn off personalized ads. Google may ask you to sign in to manage account settings.
For information about how Google uses data from websites and apps that use its services, read Google’s partner-site and app data-use explanation. This second link explains data use; it is not itself an advertising opt-out control. These external pages are governed by Google’s policies.
Your controls and requests
Use Clear to remove visible tool inputs and output. Use your browser’s site-data settings to remove the theme preference and offline cache; this disables offline access until you prepare it again online. Clear your clipboard and delete downloaded files separately if needed. Browser cleanup or storage eviction can also remove cached content.
Depending on applicable law and the information actually held, you may be able to request access, correction or deletion of personal information. Contact [email protected] with enough context to identify relevant correspondence. We cannot retrieve local tool inputs that were never sent to us; this does not rule out hosting records or email correspondence.
Children and security
The site is a general-purpose developer utility and does not offer child accounts or ask for a child’s profile. Do not send children’s personal information in examples or correspondence. If you believe such information has been sent to us, contact us so the issue can be reviewed.
No browser environment, device storage or email transmission can be guaranteed completely secure. Keep your browser updated, use trusted devices and remove secrets from examples and reports.
Policy changes
