What DevBench Local is

DevBench Local is a browser-based developer workbench at mistforge.cc. It brings 40 focused tools and nine practical English tutorials together for inspecting data, comparing configuration, understanding requests, working with CSS and bytes, and building reproducible fixtures.

Who it is for

The site is for developers, students and technical users who need to complete small tasks and inspect the result. You can use the tools without creating an account, paying a subscription or supplying an API key.

How the tools work

Tool inputs and selected files are processed in your browser. Specialized libraries and UI icons are bundled locally rather than loaded from a runtime CDN. The site does not execute generated SQL or shell commands, send converted HTTP requests, resolve packages from a registry or synchronize your inputs between devices.

After preparation, browser caching supports offline access on the same device, browser profile and site address. There is no separate ZIP offline package. Follow the offline guide to prepare and test your browser.

How to evaluate a result

Each tool provides labeled inputs, a worked example, an expected result and scope limitations. Development checks include independent expected values, invalid inputs, browser interactions and offline behavior. These checks improve reliability but do not prove correctness for every input or browser.

Inferred schemas describe samples, diagnostic reports cover selected checks, and generated code or SQL needs review in your own environment. Tutorials include reference links and image attribution where applicable. If you find an error, send a small reproducible example through the contact information.

Data and third-party components

The application does not deliberately save tool inputs or results. Browser storage is used for the website cache and your theme preference. Read the privacy policy for browser, hosting and email distinctions, and the open-source notices for bundled software licenses.

Stay within the documented scope

DevBench Local is a collection of utilities, not a hosted development environment or a substitute for project-specific testing. Start at All tools, read the FAQ for common questions, and review the terms of use before relying on an output.

Preparing offline tools…Everything runs on your device.
